Andover Dog Training Center (ADTC) was founded with one goal in mind: to help dogs and their owners live better lives together. We provide professional dog training, boarding, and grooming services built on structure, clear communication, and compassion. Our programs are designed to create real-world results that improve behavior, confidence, and the bond between dogs and their families.
We believe dogs are more than pets — they are family. That belief guides everything we do, from how we train to how we care for dogs while they board or visit our grooming department. Our Training Philosophy
At ADTC, we use a balanced training approach that combines positive reinforcement, clear structure, and accountability. Training begins in low-distraction environments and gradually progresses into real-life settings such as parks, neighborhoods, and public spaces. This ensures dogs don’t just learn commands — they learn how to respond reliably in everyday situations.

Our grooming team provides gentle, professional care with services ranging from basic hygiene to full haircuts and specialty skin and coat treatments.
Together, these services allow us to care for the whole dog — behavior, comfort, and health.
Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced trainers and groomers who are passionate about helping dogs thrive. ADTC is owned and operated by Scott Sexton, a retired U.S. Army Combat Engineer K9 Handler whose background in military working dogs brings discipline, structure, and real-world training standards into every program.
Alongside Scott, our trainers and groomers bring years of experience in animal care, grooming, and behavior. We are committed to continued education and professional growth so we can provide the best care possible for our clients and their dogs.
