Dogs practicing calm behavior with their handlers
ONL Wichita • Veteran-led training

Dog behavior help for everyday life.

When walks, visitors, or household routines feel difficult, start with a clear picture of what your dog is doing. ONL Wichita provides individual behavior and obedience coaching for Wichita-area dogs and their owners.

Start with the situations you want to change.

Tell us what happens, when it happens, and what you have already tried. We work on everyday behavior concerns such as leash reactivity, barking around distractions, jumping, overexcitement, difficulty settling, fear, and guarding. A conversation about your dog’s history helps the team decide whether a training program is an appropriate fit.

A plan built around the dog and the owner.

Behavior work connects clear communication, practical management, and skills your family can practice consistently. Depending on your goals, this may include attention on walks, place, household boundaries, calm greetings, recall, and impulse control. We adjust expectations and the training environment to the individual dog. Results depend on the dog, the situation, and follow-through at home.

Private coaching or a structured training program.

Private one-on-one lessons at our office provide individual coaching. For specific behaviors in the home, we also offer in-home training, priced according to distance and the behavior being addressed. Board & Train may be another option when the team determines it is suitable. Share any bite history, guarding, or handling concerns before scheduling so the team can discuss program fit and the next step. Enrollment is confirmed individually; no page or program promise replaces that conversation.

Before you book

Your questions, answered.

Can you help with a reactive dog?

Leash reactivity is among the behavior concerns our team works on. Tell us about the triggers, your dog’s history, and what happens during an incident so we can discuss suitability.

Do you take dogs with aggression or guarding concerns?

Share the full behavior and bite history before booking. The team reviews the individual dog and confirms whether an available program is appropriate.

Is obedience training enough for every behavior problem?

The starting point depends on the dog and the problem. We discuss your goals and history before recommending a format, rather than promising one program will fit every dog.

Where are behavior lessons available?

Private lessons are offered in clients’ homes across the Wichita region, subject to trainer availability. Call with your location and concerns.

A separate training option

In-home training for specific behaviors.

When you need help with a specific behavior in your dog’s home environment, ask about training at your home. Tell us what is happening and where you live so we can discuss the right approach.

Pricing is determined by distance and the behavior being addressed. Contact the team for an individual quote and availability.
